Meet Dr. Kayla Dominguez

Supporting families through gentle, nervous-system-focused care so they can build a strong foundation for lifelong health is my passion.”
Dr. Kayla grew up in Mason City, Iowa, where strong values around community, hard work, and caring for others shaped who she is today. Being surrounded by supportive relationships taught her the importance of connection, service, and showing up for people through every season of life — values that continue to guide her family-centered approach to care.
Drawn to a more holistic and natural lifestyle, Dr. Kayla was inspired by chiropractic’s focus on supporting the body’s innate ability to heal without reliance on constant medical intervention or medications. This philosophy naturally led her to prenatal and pediatric chiropractic, where gentle, nervous-system-focused care early in life can help create a strong foundation for long-term health.
A Chiropractic Education
Dr. Kayla earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland University-Kansas City, where she completed extensive academic and clinical training with a focus on prenatal, pediatric, and family chiropractic care. During her education, she trained in family-centered settings that allowed her to refine gentle techniques and patient-focused communication.
In addition to her doctorate, Dr. Kayla has the following credentials:
- ICPA Webster Technique Certified
- Ongoing training in pediatric and nervous-system-focused care, including neurotonal methods
A Desire to Help Others Naturally
Dr. Kayla’s approach to care is holistic, gentle, and individualized. She especially loves supporting pregnant moms, newborns, and families, and finds it incredibly meaningful to walk alongside parents and children as health ripples through an entire household.

Enjoying Life in Lincoln
Outside of the office, Dr. Kayla enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and getting outdoors with her husky, Duke. She’s an avid sports fan — cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, supporting the Nebraska Huskers alongside her husband, and still holding a soft spot for her alma mater, the Iowa Hawkeyes. A fun fact about Dr. Kayla is that she served six years in the National Guard, including a deployment to Iraq — an experience that deeply shaped her resilience, sense of service, and commitment to caring for others.
At Thrive Family Chiropractic, Dr. Kayla is honored to support families through gentle, intentional care that helps the nervous system function at its best, empowering parents, supporting growing children, and helping families thrive — together.
